Canada Shotokan 40th Anniversary Celebration

to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Canada Shotokan Karate.
40 years ago Ohshima Sensei asked George Quessy, Gene Malec and me to form
Canada Shotokan Karate. Since its inception CSK has grown to more than 20 dojos.
Our event will be a mix of fun, celebration and competition.
There will be an International Team Tournament, Individual Tournament,
practise with Ohshima Sensei and a Godan test. A detailed schedule will follow soon.
If you have not had a chance to visit Canada’s West Coast you will be treated
to an abundance of natural beauty, clean air and friendly people. Vancouver is a
sophisticated, cosmopolitan city that has been on the list of top 10 most liveable
cities in the world for over 5 years.
